Joel Kinnaman (Suicide Squad, “House of Cards”), Tom Holland (Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming) and Rachelle Lefevre (White House Down, Twilight) star in the action-packed, psychological thriller EDGE OF WINTER, debuting on DVD September 27 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The intense and suspenseful film follows two siblings (Holland, Percy Hynes White) stranded at a remote cabin in the dead of winter with their father, Elliot (Kinnaman). As Elliot becomes increasingly unhinged, the boys must fight for survival against the man who was supposed to protect them. The film also stars Shiloh Fernandez (Evil Dead), Patrick Garrow (Robocop) and Rossif Sutherland (River, “Reign”).

Synopsis:

Recently divorced and laid off from his job, Elliot Baker (Joel Kinnaman, Suicide Squad; Run All Night) is desperate to spend more time bonding with his sons, Bradley (Tom Holland, Captain America: Civil War) and Caleb (Percy Hynes White, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb).  What starts as family day trip to teach his boys how to shoot turns into a nightmare when they become stranded.  As they retreat to a desolate cabin, Elliot’s mounting fear of losing custody pushes him to the edge. The brothers quickly realize that the man responsible for keeping them safe has now become their biggest threat.

EDGE OF WINTER was directed by Rob Connolly from a screenplay by Rob Connolly and Kyle Mann. The film was produced by Jonathan Bronfman and Kyle Mann, with executive producers Aaron Barnett, Lon Molnar, Michael Risley and Jeff Sackman.

EDGE OF WINTER has a run time of approximately 89 minutes and is rated R for language and some violence.
