Independent film distributor NEON has released the official trailer for Her Private Hell, the new film from director Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive). Following its Cannes premiere, this psychological horror hits theaters nationwide on Friday, July 24, 2026.
The trailer introduces a stylized, neon-drenched cityscape featuring Refn’s signature atmosphere.

Co-written by Refn and Esti Giordani, the film follows a woman searching for her father in a city plagued by a mysterious fog and a deadly entity. The narrative also follows an elite group of actresses facing a serial killer dubbed the “Leather Man”. Refn describes the film as an instinctive, sensory-driven experience focused on “glitter, sex, and violence”.
The film stars Sophie Thatcher (Yellowjackets) and Charles Melton (May December). The ensemble includes Havana Rose Liu, Kristine Froseth, Diego Calva, Shioli Kutsuna, Dougray Scott, Aoi Yamada, and Hidetoshi Nishijima.
