Sunday night brought the premiere of the final season of DEXTER and the fans turned out by the droves. Pulling in a whopping 2.5 million viewers it is by far one of the most watched shows on TV right now. Dexter Season 8, which premiered June 30th, began six months after LaGuerta’s murder with Dexter (Golden Globe and SAG Award winner Michael C. Hall) still managing life as a dad, brother, and serial killer. As Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) struggles to deal with the consequences of her actions, a mysterious woman comes to work with Miami Metro, offering first-hand information on Dexter’s past.

The premiere really did shake a lot of things up and I know I can’t wait for Sunday nights to roll around.
