IT’S IN THE BLOOD Is Heading To DVD

IT’S IN THE BLOOD has been playing the fesitval circuit and gathering awards pretty much everywhere it’s shown and today brings the news that all horror fans will be able to see what all the fuss is about because it’s heading to home video on April 23rd.

Starring genre icon Lance Henriksen and directed by Scooter Downey the film tells the story of Russell, a father (Henriksen) who takes his estranged son (Sean Elliot) on trip into the woods, hoping they can reconnect. Instead, Russell winds up breaking his leg, stranding the two of them in the foreboding forest, where tragic events from their past and a literal demon begin tormenting them.

No other details on the disc as I’m writing this but I’m sure they will be forthcoming soon.
