Following an impressive film festival run, filmmaker Joe Pellegrino’s surreal psychological horror short, Nymphal, is now available to stream for free worldwide on YouTube.

Nymphal plunges viewers into a pressure cooker of escalating dread within a secluded rural setting. The film follows a man and his daughter trapped in their trailer backyard, forced to navigate local murder mysteries, their own fractured relationship, and an aggressive, encroaching wall of bamboo. As the deafening, omnipresent song of cicadas builds to a crescendo, it heralds the characters’ bizarre ultimate fate
