FOUND TV Announces Exclusive Worldwide Premiere of BUM on June 16

Canadian Filmmaker Anthony Leroy’s Latest Horror-Comedy Arrives on the Dedicated Home for Found Footage

FOUND TV, the dedicated home for found footage horror, announced the exclusive worldwide premiere of BUM, the latest feature from Canadian filmmaker Anthony Leroy. The film will debut globally on June 16, available in over 120 countries through FOUND TV’s free-with-ads platform and FOUND TV+ membership.

BUM follows a freelance news crew and a hotshot reporter search for a violent vagrant and get more than they bargained for.

Anthony Leroy is a Canadian filmmaker known for his chaotic horror-comedy films that blend SOV (shot-on-video) techniques and aesthetics with found footage stylings. As the co-founder of Elytra Collective, Anthony writes, directs, edits and acts, producing genre-bending works including BUM (2025) and Worm Burner (2024).

The film joins FOUND TV’s curated library of found footage reinforcing the platform’s focus on bringing independent horror projects to a global audience.

Independent filmmakers working in found footage and adjacent styles often face limited distribution opportunities. By providing a dedicated platform for these works, FOUND TV continues to support creators whose films may not fit traditional release models.

With a curated library of over 300 titles and new films added regularly, the platform emphasizes discovery and accessibility for both audiences and creators. FOUND TV is available across multiple devices, including Apple TV, Roku, Fire Stick, smart TVs, web browsers, and mobile platforms.

“Anthony’s work reflects a strong independent filmmaking perspective, and we are proud to bring BUM to audiences on FOUND TV,” said Louie La Vella.

Through its free-with-ads model and FOUND TV+ membership option, the platform provides global distribution while supporting the filmmakers featured on the service.
