DEADLIFE Releases Steely, Industrial-Synth Track,
“North Inertia”
Out Now via FiXT Neon
DEADLIFE’s “North Inertia” is a ferocious track with gritty, industrial-like attitude, its steely atmosphere punctuated by powerful percussion and understated synth melodies that permeate the track with a haunting ambience. “North Inertia” is available now on all platforms from independent retro synth label FiXT Neon.
“North Inertia is reflective of the general feeling I get in the north here. Generally, it’s just the idea that shit stays the same all the time. It’s where I’m from and I am proud of my roots but I can’t pretend it’s all roses because it isn’t. But I wanted to add elements of the north to the track. The interlude is influenced more by the likes of James Horner, I’m a huge fan of Aliens, and anything like that, I’d spin the OST on repeat as a kid because I was so fascinated by the different percussive elements.” – DEADLIFE
