Ghost Machine Pictures Announces Film Slate of Smartly Budgeted Horror

GHOST MACHINE PICTURES ANNOUNCES FILM SLATE OF SMARTLY BUDGETED HORROR

Founded by TV writer Brandon Walker and producer Ashley Park, Ghost Machine Pictures announces a three picture film slate. A recent studio startup, GMP focuses on the production and distribution of independent horror films with a supernatural component.

First to arrive is STAY, coming to Amazon Prime on March 26th. A cautionary tale of ambition gone wrong, STAY blends the allure of America’s Next Top Model with the terror of Paranormal Activity. The film stars Ashley Park (Rosewood), Jesse LeNoir (Project Runway) and Dre Davis (Pretty Little Liars).

Next in the pipeline is Double, a psycho-paranormal picture in the K-horror tradition. From a script by Emmy Award winner Brandon Walker, Double explores the terrifying nature of self-discovery.

Finally, we get Cold Storage, a film about a problematic corpse in a delicate state of preservation. With each drip, a local medical examiner gets closer to knowing a horrifying truth.

According to Walker, there is a potential fourth film in the mix for 2021. “We want to release a handful of smartly budgeted films in the next 12-16 months. Our projects focus on paranormal themes and will be produced in a highly efficient manner.” When asked about the GMP business model, Walker added, “It’s about producing creative films that rise above their budgetary limitations. We want to establish our own position in the marketplace by shepherding tiny films from script to screen.”
