Henry South Tweets About Starting Work on ALIEN Prequels

FX artist Henry South commented on his first day of work on the Untitled ALIEN prequel via his twitter account. http://twitter.com/henrysouth “Started work on alien prequel today!! Absolutely stunning. Worth waiting till late 2011 for peeps!” South, who is known for his work on films like CLASH OF THE TITANS and THE WOLFMAN is currently hard at work on HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS: PART 2 and PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: ON STRANGER TIDES. as well as the much anticipated Alien Prequels.

Ridley Scott will take on directorial duties for both of the films that are rumored to shed light on the origins of the Alien creatures. The first film is set in the year 2085, and supposedly will explore the fate of the derelict ship called the “Space Jockey” that appeared in the first ALIEN film.
