According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mandalay Bay purchased the rights to bring one of Joe Hill’s short stories to the big screen. Twittering from the Circus of the Dead is a short story about a family vacation gone horribly wrong from the son of famed horror author Stephen King. The script adaptation will be penned by Chris Borrelli. Todd Lincoln is currently in talks to direct the film. This acquisition marks the second work from the Joe Hill (real name Joseph Hillstrom King) catalogue that Mandalay has picked up. Last year the production company bought the rights to Hill’s novel ‘Horns’ a story about a man who undergoes a strange metamorphosis while sleeping and awakens with horns growing out of his head.
