Horror-Fix Publishing creates a home for extreme horror, erotic horror, transgressive fiction, and authors unwilling to compromise their work
After years of championing independent horror filmmakers, writers, artists, and creators, Horror-Fix is expanding its mission with the launch of Horror-Fix Publishing, a new independent publishing imprint dedicated to horror fiction without unnecessary creative boundaries.
The imprint’s first release, Holy Trinity by KC Price, arrives October 20, 2026, in Kindle and paperback editions. Kindle preorders are available now through Amazon.
The first installment of The Trinity Van Buren Sexcraft Chronicles, Holy Trinity introduces Trinity Van Buren, a young woman whose arrival at Holy Secret University draws her into a hidden world of ancient rituals, forbidden desires, secret societies, and an increasingly unsettling connection to forces that may have been waiting for her long before she arrived.
Blending supernatural horror, dark fantasy, occult fiction, and explicit eroticism, Holy Trinity explores desire, identity, power, and the sometimes dangerous consequences of discovering exactly who—or what—you are.
The release also establishes the philosophy behind Horror-Fix Publishing: give writers room to tell the stories they actually want to tell.
“Independent horror has always been at its most interesting when creators are willing to go somewhere they’re not supposed to go,” said Horror-Fix founder Ash Hamilton. “That’s what we want Horror-Fix Publishing to embrace. We’re not interested in asking a writer to make something less extreme, less sexual, less strange, or more comfortable simply because that’s easier to market. If the story demands it, we want them to have the freedom to go there.”
That philosophy means Horror-Fix Publishing is actively open to work occupying the more challenging edges of genre fiction, including extreme horror, erotic horror, transgressive fiction, dark fantasy, and combinations of those genres that don’t fit neatly onto conventional shelves.
It also means recognizing that the freedom to write provocative material sometimes requires another kind of freedom: the ability to separate the author from the work.
Horror-Fix Publishing supports writers who choose to publish under pseudonyms and believes authors should be able to determine how much—or how little—of their personal identity becomes part of the marketing of their fiction.
“For some writers, a pseudonym is part of the creative identity,” Hamilton said. “For others, it’s a practical necessity when they’re writing sexually explicit, violent, or transgressive material. Either way, we’re interested in the work. Authors shouldn’t have to choose between exploring something creatively and protecting the other parts of their lives.”
The goal isn’t extremity simply for the sake of being extreme. It’s creative freedom.
Horror has historically provided writers with a place to explore subjects that other genres sometimes avoid: fear, sexuality, violence, obsession, trauma, taboo, identity, mortality, and the uncomfortable spaces between them. Horror-Fix Publishing intends to preserve that freedom rather than narrow it.
And Holy Trinity is only the beginning.
Horror-Fix Publishing is already preparing its next release, Blood Lust, written by another contributing Horror-Fix author. Additional details about Blood Lust, including its author, story, and release date, will be announced soon.
Further titles and opportunities for writers interested in working with Horror-Fix Publishing are also planned as the imprint develops.
For Horror-Fix, the expansion into publishing represents a natural extension of a platform built around independent genre storytelling.
“We’ve spent years talking about the people making horror,” Hamilton said. “Publishing gives us another opportunity to actually help make it.”
