The film follows a psychiatrist interviewing a mysterious prisoner. As their sessions progress, the line between fiction and reality dissolves completely. Five interconnected tales unravel to reveal a sinister force that has existed far longer than anyone imagined, all tied together by an enigmatic storyteller named Bob.
