Psychological Sci-Fi Horror Explores the Emotional Mystery Behind the Sasquatch Legend

Cinema Epoch announces the upcoming release of BEYOND SASQUATCH, a psychological sci-fi horror film written, produced, and directed by Gregory Hatanaka. The film will debut on TubiTV in April, with additional streaming platforms to follow. Logline: Three female astronauts return from a classified mission to Jupiter… changed.

BEYOND SASQUATCH blends intimate character drama with atmospheric creature horror, exploring how buried emotions, jealousy, loneliness, and unresolved connections can manifest in terrifying ways. Rather than relying solely on creature spectacle, the film balances genre tension with an arthouse sensibility, focusing on the fragile human relationships that exist alongside the myth of Sasquatch.
