Former NFL star turned actor Vernon Davis continues to find his way in the horror genre; Joins cast of Destry Allyn Spielberg upcoming apocalyptic thriller

Most recently, Vernon joined the cast of Destry Allyn Spielberg’s feature directorial debut Please Don’t Feed the Children. The upcoming apocalyptic thriller follows a group of orphans who head south in search of a new life after a viral outbreak that ravages the country’s adult population, only to find themselves at the mercy of a deranged woman harboring a dangerous secret.

This past summer, Vernon starred opposite Academy Award-winner Morgan Freeman and Yellowstone’s Cole Hauser in The Ritual Killer. In the film, Vernon plays a serial killer named Randoku, who kills based on a brutal South African tribal ritual known as Muti and is being hunted by Detective Boyd (Hauser). Boyd recruits the help of Professor Mackles (Freeman), an anthropologist who hides an unspeakable secret. The line between sanity and madness thins as Boyd goes deeper into Randoku’s world.
