Nicole Kidman in Talks to Star in James Wan’s Next Horror Flick

Variety is reporting that Nicole Kidman is currently in negotiations to star in the latest film offering from James Wan titled SPECTRE. Details about this upcoming film project are very hush-hush at this time, but SPECTRE reportedly has a budget of under $10 million, making it yet another low-budget outing for Wan. No stranger to the world of low-budget horror, Wan directed the box-office darling INSIDIOUS. INSIDIOUS was made on a shoestring budget of merely $1.4 million, and has already banked $50 million. As a result, the profitable returns from the film have garnered Wan some much deserved attention from some of Hollywood’s A-list stars including Nicole Kidman.

SPECTRE will be produced by Rick Schwartz’s Overnight Prods. and Kidman’s Blossom Films. Other films being shopped around include LORDS OF SALEM from Rob Zombie and an as-of-yet untitled supernatural outing from Scott Derrickson .
