Alien Prequel News

It seems the prequel that Ridley Scott wants to make is back and forth between being made and being put on the back burner. Well Ridley shed some light on the status of this project recently that should put an end to the tug of war rumors that have been coming out.

“We always have movies moving all the time. It’s a bit like the stock exchange, actually—one script will evolve quicker than the others, so it’s always constant movement. The one that’s most likely [to move first] is the ALIEN prequel. It’s written and budgeted and, frankly, we’ve already booked film stages in England, so I think [it will happen soon].”

So there it is straight from the directors mouth himself. This film should be moving and while it’s too soon to gauge real interest in this film it should be interesting at leasta. Ridley rarely disappoints and how this ties in with the beloved original will prove to be fascinating.
