RL Stine receives honors in Guinness World Records

For two decades, R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps series introduced the perfect combination of humor and spine-tingling fun to legions of young horror fans. Last week at BookExpo America in NYC, Guinness World Records recognized Mr. Stine as the ‘Most Prolific Author of Children’s Horror Fiction Novels’ for his amazing – and amazingly scary – body of work.

Most Prolific Author Of Children’s Horror Fiction Novels: Robert Lawrence Stine (USA) has the distinction of being the world’s most prolific author of children’s horror fiction novels. As of May 2011, R. L. Stine has written over 300 horror fiction novels including the hugely popular Fear Street, Goosebumps, Rotten School, Mostly Ghostly, and The Nightmare Room series, all of which, according to the author, are intended “…to give kids the creeps”.
