THE DOT FILM COMPANY BEGINS PRODUCTION ON FOLLOWERS

The Dot Film Company is thrilled to announce the start of production on its latest feature film, FOLLOWERS, a chilling found footage thriller that explores the darker side of social media obsession. Written by Theodore Bezaire (THE BIRDER) and Ken Amlin (THE BACKHAND), and directed by Amlin, the film is set to capture audiences with its gripping story and innovative approach to the genre.

Starring Jessica Antovski (VAMPIRE ZOMBIES…FROM SPACE!), Michael Krym, and Catherine Valle-Taylor, FOLLOWERS tells the story of a group of ambitious urban explorer YouTubers as they venture into an abandoned house in a desperate bid to grow their subscriber base. However, what they uncover inside is far more sinister than they could have ever imagined, turning their quest for fame into a harrowing fight for survival.

Produced by Gerry Lattmann (THE BIRDER, VAMPIRE ZOMBIES…FROM SPACE!) and co-produced by Bezaire, Mike Stasko and Jeff Nadalin, in Association with KRA Productions Inc, the film promises a fresh take on the found footage genre, blending modern themes of social media influence with heart-pounding suspense.

Shooting has commenced in Mississauga, Ontario, and will continue throughout the month.
