Interview: Luke David Blumm (Son)

Actor Luke David Blumm (The Walking Dead, The King of Staten Island, The Sinner). Luke David Blumm stars in Son. Son was directed by Ivan Kavanagh (The Canal, Never Grow Old) and it stars Andi Matichak (Halloween 2018, Assimilate, Halloween Kills).

Hi Luke, you did such a great job in the film SON. How did you get involved with the film and why did you decide to play the role of David?

Luke- I have always wanted to do a horror movie. Horror is my favorite genre. I’ve been watching horror movies since I was seven years old. I felt a connection with David.

What was it like for you working with Andi Matichak?

Luke- I loved working with Andi. Me and my dad still talk to Andi now. Right before the interviews, I texted Andi to ask her if she had any tips for doing interviews?

That’s cool. You both did such a great job.

Luke- Yes.

What was it working with the director Ivan Kavanagh?

Luke- Ivan was fun to work with. He’s one of my favorite directors that I’ve worked with so far. He was really nice.

Are you working on any other projects?

Luke- I am actually doing a movie right now. I can’t reveal any details yet. The next movie I am doing is called, I Want You Back. It’s a comedy and it’s going to be a lot of fun.

Did you have a favorite scary movie that got you in to scary movies?

Luke- My favorite movie in general is It, the remake. That’s my favorite movie.
