Sir Christopher Lee Film JINNAH To Premiere on Turner Classic Movies

2016_03_13 - JINNAH

In keeping with the last wishes of his dear friend Sir Christopher Lee actor and now distributor Douglas Dunning, in association with Vision Films and director Jamil Dehlavi, has licensed Sir Christopher’s 1998 film Jinnah to Turner Classic Movies (TCM). The film will be presented as a World Television Premiere in October 2016 during Christopher Lee Month on the TCM network.  This is the most important and most personal film of Sir Christopher’s impressive career.  It is also his finest performance as little-known world leader Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, who assumed office in 1947.  The film was made over a period of ten weeks in 1997 and for one reason or another has never been shown in the English-speaking world.

Look for the film in October 2016.
