Scareanormal: Fresno, a 3 day convention/exposition event celebrating the Worlds of Horror and Cult cinema, Paranormal Investigations and exploration, Comics, Science Fiction and Pop Culture will invade Fresno on June 28-30. The event will feature dozens of celebrities from these Worlds, participating in signings, meet and greets and interactive panels, as well as vendors, film screenings, and additional activities.
Scareanormal boasts a huge celebrity talent list capped off with Fresno native and horror icon Sid Haig, best known for his role as the iconic Captain Spaulding in Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’s Rejects, as well as roles in Zombie’s Halloween, The Lords of Salem, and Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown and Kill Bill. Other celebrity guests include Andrew Bryniarski (Leatherface – Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning, Any Given Sunday, The Program), Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead (1978), Halloween, The Devil’s Rejects, The Lords of Salem), Mike Christopher and Leonard Lies from Dawn of the Dead, actor/comedian Hal Sparks (Dude, Where’s my Car, Queer as Folk, Spider Man 2), Noel G (Training Day, Bruce Almighty, The Fast and the Furious, The Dark Knight Rises), Anthony Guajardo, Larry Mainland, Sonya Thompson, Alyssa Gruhn from AMC’s Zombie hit The Walking Dead, Sean Whalen (Lost, The People Under the Stairs, Twister, That Thing You Do, Hatchet 3), The CROW Panel featuring Creator James O’ Barr, and actors Rochelle Davis (Sarah), and Jon Polito (Gideon), and many more.
Additionally, Sunday at SCAREANORMAL will be Family Day, featuring an additional selection of stars and activities with a focus on children’s and teen programming, including Lab Rats (Disney XD), The Wizards of Waverly Place, Hannah Montana, Cars, Cars 2, A Bug’s Life, Wreck-It –Ralph, as well as the convention debut (appearing Saturday and Sunday) of 5 year old twins Ryder and Evan Londo, known for their roles as both Abel Teller on Sons of Anarchy, and Gene Draper on AMC’s hit Mad Men.
Organized by : THC Talent/Tillery-Hazaert Collective, one of the World’s premiere Film, TV, and Music convention booking and consultation agencies, in conjunction with The Central Valley Horror Club and presented by FANGORIA and MONSTER CITY THEME WORKS. SCAREANORMAL will provide a Hollywood fan experience, with a decidedly local Fresno flavor, featuring local sponsors, vendors, and more.
