What inspired you to make Crack Whore?
I was looking for a way to combine two genres I enjoy. Rape Revenge movies and screwball Comedies. CW is like mixture of “I Spit on your Grave” and “Dumb and Dumber”. I thought it would be interesting if the hillbilly rapist were really ignorant and dimwitted. In doing so it left the board wide open for the guys to take a beating from the women.

Did you have a hard time casting the right person for the role of Honey
Thompson?
I was lucky with casting that part. We had just finished Bloody Bloody Bible Camp and Julianne Tura was in the opening scene, she was fantastic and I knew I had found the right actress for Honey. Christopher Raff who plays Bubba Ray was also in BBBC and I thought was funny as hell and had to cast him as Bubba Ray.

How far did you push the envelope with nudity in this movie?
Crack Whore has a lot of boobies in it, we have some great psychedelic scenes with lots of beautiful breasts!

Do you have a favorite scene from Crack Whore?
That’s a tough one for me but I’d say the POV part of Honey’s rape scene. Its so over the top and ridiculous funny, I can’t help but laugh every time I watch it.

Any interesting “behind the scenes” stories during the making of… Crack Whore?
The main house we filmed at in Twentynine Palms, CA had a septic tank and on the second day all the toilets backed up into the bathtubs and on the floor, keep in mind it’s 110 degrees outside and every time we film the power is cut for noise and it got really hot really fast in the house. The plumber couldn’t come out till the next morning so we filmed on hot slushy carpet for an entire day. It was like filming a movie inside a State Fair portapotty.

How much blood is enough blood?
Enough to cover a naked girl, choking a guy to death with his own intestines.

Why did you choose Antique Scream and Motorsoule for the soundtrack?
First I have to say that both Antique Scream and Motorsoule were very cool with letting me use their music in my film, it ads a lot to the visuals. Motorsoule is an Orange County band I first heard way back in 2003, they were playing this 4th of July party I went to. The rock music they played sounded like it just belonged in a a horror movie, so I got a cd and held onto it waiting for the right movie to come along. The movie opens with one Motorsoule song and closes with another, it really made Crack Whore pop! Antique Scream I discovered randomly on itunes one day. I thought there music rocked balls so I contacted them and they said sure, they were very cool. I used 5 songs from Antique Scream in the movie and each one really enhances the visuals of what’s happening on screen.

Any “blooper” moments?
Several actually, but one really stands out that was more of a cut scene. We have this montage of shots where our bad guys hire Mistress Ashley, an online dominatrix. She shows up and tortures the crap out of them in random ways. The only scene cut from the final movie was one of these tortures scenes where the dominatrix makes our hillbilly rapist wear black face while she whips them and screams obscenities at them. In the end it was a bit too much, even know it was funny it had to be cut. And that says a lot from a film that displays tons of drug use, rape and a guy getting sodomised by an angry dominatrix.

Were any crack whores harmed during the filming of this movie?
Sadly no.

Where can Crack Whore be seen?
I’m finishing up post as we speak, working on the final sound. We hope to have it out early next year on VOD then followed by DVD and Blu-Ray release a few months later. Crack Whore will distributed through Fart House Cinema. www.farthousecinema.com
