Heather Morris in Talks to Put Down the Pom-Poms and Pick Up the Stake

Heather Morris finally put to rest all the swirling rumors and confirmed to Access Hollywood that she is in fact currently in contention for the lead role of Buffy in the movie reboot of the popular BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER franchise.

Initially when news broke that Morris might be a possible contender to wield Buffy’s infamous stake studio executives issued vehement denials and writer Whit Anderson even tweeted about the falsity of the rumors.

“They’re considering me!” Heather gushed with glee to Access Hollywood. “I found out, and I almost peed my pants ‘cause I was so excited!”

In the movie, Buffy has graduated both high school and college and will be facing the all too familiar struggles of job and relationship searches while juggling the duties of a vampire slayer.

Heather Morris can currently be found starring on Fox’s hit show ‘Glee.’ The BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER Movie reboot is estimated to show in theaters sometime in 2012.
