Lucky Brave’s Sunshine is a coming of age space western of a boy named Lucky, who must go on a quest to save his sick grandmother, but at what cost?
The film is based on Chogrin’s original story & characters, and it was co-written & co-directed by Joseph Game (Chogrin) & Ichi Aguilar. It was animated in Quito, Ecuador by Matte CG & Inti Fx, and produced by Jorge R. Gutierrez.
The film played, was nominated, and won at various film festivals in 2023, including for best direction at LALIFF. Lucky was also recently featured in Animation Magazine:
