Indiecan Entertainment will release the long-‐lost Sci-‐fi/horror film ANDROID RE-‐ENACTMENT in December Toronto, ON – Nov. 25, 2019 – First screened for an audience all the way back in 2011, director Darryl Shaw’s scrappy DIY sci-‐fi/horror/comedy ANDROID RE-‐ENACTMENT will finally see a worldwide VOD release on December 9th.
Indiecan Entertainment has partnered with Shaw to place a new updated cut of the film on VOD platforms worldwide (VimeoOnDemand, Vimeo OTT) and AmazonPrime in USA, UK and Canada.
In Android Re-‐Enactment, a retired Empathtek engineer (Jeff Sinasac) commandeers a defunct factory where he creates androids based on persons from his past, using them to recreate a dinner party where he lost the love of his life – until they malfunction and escape.
The film was written and directed by Shaw, and produced by Steve Walsh and co-‐lead actor Adam Buller (Galaxy of Horrors, Greater Than). The deal was negotiated between Indiecan’s Avi Federgreen and Justin McConnell, and Shaw via his production company God In The Grass.
