Ultra Media is honored to announce the North American premiere of Joey Curtis’ 2307: Winter’s Dreams. The ice-covered sci-fi thriller will screen for the first time in the States at the 9th LA INDIE Film Festival tonight, September 16th.
The year is 2307 A.D. The Earth is frozen over and virtually uninhabitable. The remaining humans live underground, unable to survive the sub-arctic temperatures. With no “man power,” scientists bio-engineered Humanoids that possess great strength, speed, and tolerance to extreme cold. A rogue humanoid named ASH-393 escapes from captivity and threatens to lead a humanoid rebellion against mankind. Arizona Federation leader, General Trajan, sends an elite team of Spartan 7 soldiers to hunt down and terminate ASH. Decorated veteran humanoid killer, Commander Bishop, will lead his team across the frozen wastelands to face his greatest foe
2307: Winter’s Dream stars Paul Sidhu, Arielle Holmes, Timothy Lee DePriest, Anne-Solenne Hatte, Branden Coles, Kelcey Watson, Brad Potts. The film is the latest from Joey Curtis, whose first film Quattro Noza won the Excellence in Cinematography Award at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival and co-writer of the hit film Blue Valentine, starring Ryan Gosling and Academy Award nominee Michelle Williams. Executive producer Robert Beaumont’s recent horror film, Emilie, is available from Lionsgate.
