PENNY DREADFUL Gets Itself A Brand New Trailer

One show that I am looking particularly forward to seeing is the new Showtime series PENNY DREADFUL which as of today is only about 3 weeks away from seeing the light of day. May 11th is premiere day and this show appears to be a really interesting hybrid of old school classic horror and sexy soap opera.

An impressive cast has been assembled that includes osh Hartnett, Timothy Dalton, Eva Green, Reeve Carney, Rory Kinnear, Billie Piper, Danny Sapani and Harry Treadaway. The show premise takes some of literature’s most famous monsters (think Dr. Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, folks from Dracula) and brings them all together in Victorian era London to run amok and raise mayhem. A really interesting premise that I’m looking forward to seeing.

As I mentioned above, the show premieres on May 11th at 10 PM on Showtime. Another premium channel that now must be added to your cable bill.
