John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN Returning to Theatres in October 2013

John Carpenter’s HALLOWEEN (1978) has been released on Blu-ray for the second time in an all-new high definition transfer supervised by the film’s cinematographer, Dean Cundey, with extras. To celebrate the film’s 35th anniversary since its initial theatrical release, HALLOWEEN is being shown theatrically this month prior to the titular holiday. HALLOWEEN 4: THE RETURN OF MICHAEL MYERS and HALLOWEEN 5: THE REVENGE OF MICHAEL MYERS, while obviously not in the same league as the original, will also be screened.
