Kadokawa Pictures recently announced several new films in their 2012 catalog. In that roster is the next installment in the popular Ring series, and if that isn’t enough to get those old VHS players humming in anticipation, then get this, Sadako is also going 3D in the new film. The author of the original “Ring” novels Koji Suzuki, has returned to script the latest installment in the franchise titled SADAKO 3D, and he has a lot in store for fans of the previous films. In an interview, Suzuki stated that in the film Sadako will once again emerge from a television set in a 3D scene similar to the one made famous in the original film. Although I am not a huge fan of 3D films myself, even I must admit that the idea of Sadako scraping her way out of a television set is quite impressive.
