Glee Brings Out the Zombies at Halftime

Glee’s halftime show brought it all, pyrotechnics, zombie dancing and a whole lot of singing. The Glee gang was joined by rogue members of the Cheerleading squad and more than a handful of football jocks who help them to rock the stands in a rousing performance of the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s “Heads Will Roll” mashed up with Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” The performance involved a lot of zombie flailing and teeth gnashing, and looked vaguely reminiscent of something I think I saw once on that completely forgettable show “So You Think You Can Dance?” but with a lot more fireworks.

Reviews on the performance are mixed, but no one can deny that the Gleeks were out in full force this past Sunday, and the show earned a series-high with 26.8 million viewers and a 13.6 fast-national rating.
