FOUND TV+ members get early access on April 23
FOUND TV is bringing the festival hit Loner to its platform on April 24, with an exclusive global release. The film will be available free with ads, while FOUND TV+ members can watch a day early on April 23 without interruptions.
Written by and starring Charlie Robb, and co-directed with Douglas Tawn, Loner is a found footage folk horror film with a dark comedic edge. The story follows an aspiring vlogger who heads into the wilderness for a solo retreat, only to find himself trapped by an ancient force. The film has already made a strong impression on the festival circuit. It’s set to play Panic Fest 2026 and has picked up several awards, including Best Feature at the British Horror Film Festival and Best Film and Best Actor at the Black Sunday Film Festival. It also earned Best Director at Nòt Film Festival and multiple nominations at Raindance.
Early reactions point to a mix of psychological horror, dark humor, and a character-driven approach that leans into the strengths of the found footage format. “Loner is raw, uncomfortable, and exactly the kind of film that shows why found footage from around the world is having a moment. These are the voices FOUND TV is built to spotlight.” — Louie La Vella, CEO and co-founder of FOUND TV.
As a debut feature, Loner fits squarely within FOUND TV’s focus on spotlighting emerging filmmakers and giving genre projects a wider audience beyond festivals. The platform continues to build a dedicated space for found footage fans, with a curated lineup that highlights both new voices and standout indie releases.
Loner will be available in over 100 countries through FOUND TV.
