the horror community itself, through several years of pandemic, numerous attempts to change
Charles’ vision and tone the film down, and the blood, sweat, tears, and rusted barbed wire
experienced only in the world of independent horror production. Inspired by films like Hellraiser,
Silent Hill, Martyrs, and Requiem for a Dream, it is a tale born through Charles’ own experiences
with homelessness and the punk scene in early 00’s New York City. It is a film that tries to never
compromise, to never shy away from the horrors of real life at the same time it delves into the
