New Sci-Fi Body Horror Film “Metamorphose” Explores Fear of Invasion and Mutation.

New sci-fi body horror film “Metamorphose” explores fear of invasion and mutation. Trigger warning for anyone with trypophobia.

Vancouver, BC – “Metamorphose”, a new sci-fi body horror film, directed by Dallas Harvey is set to be released soon, promising to deliver a gripping and terrifying experience for fans of the genre.

“Metamorphose” combines elements of survival horror and science fiction, drawing inspiration from movies like “The Last of Us” and “The Fly”. After being violently attacked by a creature in the forest, Alex Herrera’s mind and body begin to change as the invasive alien organism takes over. As mutations spread quickly, the community of Silver Creek struggles to eradicate it before it can spread further and take the entire planet for its own.

The film’s main theme is based on trypophobia, the extreme fear of small holes. Harvey decided to weave that fear into the sci-fi body horror film. “Metamorphose” uses data from entomology, medical forensics, and biological virology.

Director Dallas Harvey says, “For me, when it comes to body horror, understanding how the body can be damaged or the fear of having these sorts of things happen to you and you’re out of control of it, that’s kind of where I’m coming from when I’m making this sort of stuff,” he says. “I try to build in a sense of realism into the anatomy, even if it’s fantasy or horror. With its tense atmosphere and visceral special effects, the film is sure to terrify audiences and leave them on the edge of their seats.”

‘Metamorphose’ is a disturbing must-see experience for all body horror and sci-fi fans.
