Book Review: Ultimate Guide to Surviving a Zombie Apocalypse – Author F. Kim O’Neill

ultimate-guide-zombie

The problem this book faces is its competition. There’s a sea of similar books out there, including the hulking beast rampaging through the city that is Max Brooks’ Zombie Survival Guide. At more than twice the price, TUGtSaZA doesn’t present any solid reason to purchase it over what is considered by many to be the definitive guide of its type. Continue reading

Every Zombie Death from “The Walking Dead” in Under Two Minutes

A supercut of all the zombie “deaths” in A&E’s zombie saga “The Walking Dead” has popped up on youtube. The video compiled by Eric Linn consists of 41 death shots, one decapitation and 37 edit cuts. This brilliant little piece of video took roughly 6 hours to for Linn compile and edit and the end result is overflowing enough head trauma and flying brains bits to satisfy even the most picky zombie fan. Book Review: Three Zombies and a Demon – Author Roy C. Booth

Three-Zombies-Cover

Nobody goes to plays anymore. They’re boring, lifeless things only enjoyed by the rich and snobby as a way to pretend that they are better than the rest of us. Well, Mr. Naysayer in my head, I beg to disagree. Maybe it would change your mind if we threw in some rotting, flesh hungry ghouls and horned minions of darkness in adaptations of stories from one of the premier purveyors of literary horror out there, Necrotic Tissue. By the guy that brought Brian Keene’s soul searing exploration of fiscal depression and a dead boy Jesus, Terminal, to the stage. I got your attention now, don’t I, Sparky? Continue reading

Francis, the team behind the commercially unsuccessful Zombie Night 1 and 2, have found the climate for Zombie movies has changed significantly after the “real” zombie invasion begins. Hedging on the fact that the Zombie mayhem that has taken a grip on the nation is only a temporary problem, the film makers realize that once normalcy has returned, demand for Zombie product (now … Continue reading

Office Workers VS. Zombies

zimby

Pitting the all consuming ravenous wandering sensibilities of the office worker against the metaphorical embodiment of their undead doppelgangers is like watching cannibals eating cannibals. I am only left with imagery at this point…picture a sea of identical cubicles, each trying to be unique but intrinsically being the same thing. It is the battle of one thing knowing what it is, and the other, trying to dress like it does. Fight! EDUCATION The lack of … Continue reading

Zombies on the Rise in Haiti

Zombies_in_Haiti_clip_image002

Republished  from earlier article The recent 7.0 earthquake in Haiti on January 12th 2010, which caused massive devastation in and around the capital city of Port au Prince is a tragedy and my heart goes to the people who have to suffer after this natural disaster. But it is feared there will be a rise of zombies. I am sure George Romero is not on the next plane down there to capture zombies for use … Continue reading

28 Months Later Rumors

HorrorNews.net-Thumbnail

There are still talks about another sequel to the ever popular 28 days later. In following the theme of days, then weeks, the next film is naturally being called 28 months later. While this is exciting it’s also disappointing that in the three years since 28 weeks later was released this film is still in the talking stages. However the good news is that Danny Boyle himself said he would like to return to direct … Continue reading

Zombies for Sale

Zombies_for_Sale_clip_image002

The automotive industry was, and still is, on life support. It’s going to take some real marketing genius for the public to change their view of it. They sold gas-guzzling behemoths and poorly made, often dangerous, economy cars for decades. Even their “environmentally friendly” hybrids have come under fire regarding their production, reliability, safety and inevitable trip to the landfill. . And, while companies like Ford are reporting operating profits over a billion dollars they … Continue reading
