SYNOPSIS: A struggling motel owner and her daughter are taken hostage by a nearly blind career criminal to be his eyes as he attempts to retrieve his cash package from a crooked cop. REVIEW: This one could have easily bore the title, Cold is the Cranston, as our favorite new dark persona Bryan Cranston stars in a tense thriller by the name of “Cold Comes the Night” The “Heisenberg” days may be behind us, but … Continue reading
SYNOPSIS: The world’s most famous monster is pitted against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. REVIEW: It’s indeed a daunting task for anyone besides the good folks at Toho Studios to want to take on a new Godzilla film, especially after the abomination that Roland Emmerich’s 1998 version turned out to be. It’s even more daunting when the only other film you’ve directed was a no budget potboiler that … Continue reading
I had decided I wasn’t going to post any more GODZILLA news until the film came out. You all have got to be getting tired of the “article a day” that has been bombing your eyeballs for the last month but then they sent this to my inbox! I mean seriously – how freaking cool is that!
It’s a new day and that can mean only one thing, more GODZILLA news! Yesterday brought us a nice new one sheet so it would only make sense that today it’s coolness of a video nature. Behold a new 30 second TV spot that features some dramatic flare and ends with a pretty kick as shot of everyone’s favorite giant lizard. Check it out right now!
The GODZILLA PR machine rolls on and it shows no sign of slowing down as we creep ever closer to that May 16th debut date. It’s all good by me as I’m loving all the hype and when it comes to these one sheets, the next is always better than the last. And, that leads us to this: Oh, hell ya!
An official TV spot for GODZILLA has shown up and it is wall to wall mayhem. This is officially my “most anticipated film of the year”. Check it out.
Pretty much every day now we get some kind of press from the folks over at the GODZILLA camp and today it’s a new teaser poster that looks a lot like an earlier one with the big guy heading left instead of right this time. Take a look! Yeah, a little different but not much still, pretty damn good looking.
It has finally arrived! Since SDCC the whole universe of geekdom has been eagerly awaiting this day. The day that the first official trailer for GODZILLA is thrust upon the world. Enough babbling, here’s the goods: And so the onslaught begins. The next few months should bring an endless parade of stills, teases, poster and interviews so strap in, the year of GODZILLA is about to begin.
SYNOPSIS: United Nations employee Gerry Lane traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments, and threatening to destroy humanity itself.
SYNOPSIS: A factory worker, Douglas Quaid, begins to suspect that he is a spy after visiting Rekall – a company that provides its clients with implanted fake memories of a life they would like to have led – goes wrong and he finds himself on the run. REVIEW: Colin Farrell is once again the star in a remake of a film that didn’t need to be remade. Last year it was “Fright Night” which really … Continue reading
SYNOPSIS: A Hollywood stunt performer who moonlights as a wheelman discovers that a contract has been put on him after a heist gone wrong. REVIEW: “Driver” (the character name given to Ryan Gosling) loves to Drive. He works on cars during the day, races cars for money and even takes the occasional heist operation on for extra cash. He feels at home behind the wheel, which is evident in his natural relaxed state and savvy … Continue reading
