Presenting the entire legendary collection of Video Nasties Box cover art. At one time the most disturbing horror titles on the market (and off)
Well this has turned out much better than I would have thought. When I first heard about the sequel idea being thrown around for WORLD WAR Z I was pretty bummed. Why, why in God’s name would they feel the need to make a sequel to this mediocre at best zombie tale? Well, time has been a friend to WORLD WAR Z, at least for me. After a couple of viewings it’s kind of grown … Continue reading
Although it didn’t impress me much WORLD WAR Z still managed to do pretty well for itself, particularly overseas and Paramount is wasting no time in getting this one out to home video. EW announced today that the flick will head home on Sept. 17th. Got the artwork for you right here: As far as what special features, well I’ve got that info for you as well:
SYNOPSIS: United Nations employee Gerry Lane traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments, and threatening to destroy humanity itself.
Only a few more short days till we all get to snuggle up to the film adaptation of WORLD WAR Z which from all accounts has pretty much nothing to do with the Max Brooks best seller other than the title. But while that may in fact be true, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad film. I’ve like all the clips and spots I’ve seen so far and you can add these next two … Continue reading
With the zombie apocalypse (as seen through the eyes of Brad Pitt) inching ever closer with the release of WORLD WAR Z, the PR hype machine has ratcheted up a few more notches with these two new TV spots that feature even more new footage. Early buzz on this one has been pretty favorable so keep it on your “must see” radar. Synopsis: The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses … Continue reading
With the zombies from WORLD WAR Z shambling ever closer to their June 21st release date the PR machine is beginning to kick into high gear and as such a new TV spot has been revealed. Not a ton on new footage but there is some so it’s worth a look.
I don’t know why they can’t release this shit all at the same time. The other day it was a new trailer, today it’s a new poster. All right, I’m not that damn dumb, I know exactly why they do it but still, it’s annoying. Regardless, this is a pretty sweet poster. All the other news remains the same. Still opening on June 21st, still stars Brad Pitt…..
A new trailer hit the web this morning for WORLD WAR Z, the action/adventure zombie flick heading our way from Paramount Pictures. Making its undead debut on June 21s this one has the potential of being one of the blockbusters of the summer. One horror flick is jumping the gun a bit and is teasing us all with an early taste of … Continue reading
SYNOPSIS: Jackie Cogan is an enforcer hired to restore order after three dumb guys rob a Mob protected card game, causing the local criminal economy to collapse. REVIEW: “Killing Them Softly” is a 2012 crime thriller directed by Andrew Dominik. The film features a handful of gangster regulars who add a firm helping of action and mob-style tactics “to and during” the current 2012 election cycle. In fact, the film begins with a billboard of … Continue reading

A brief clip surfaced today for the supposed zombie epic, World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War. With all the controversy surrounding this big-budget Brad Pitt starring film, I’m anxious to see how it’s going to pull itself out of the PR quagmire it got itself in earlier this year with reports of massive re-shoots, on-set accidents, and overall bad luck that seems to be surrounding this film based on the novel … Continue reading
