There’s a lot of “Head” in this episode giving Doc and Thomas tons of material to discuss and contemplate. We meet the head of the Delphi Trust, who happens to be Hank’s father and the leader of an organized pack of witch hunters. Myrtle Snow carves the eyes right out of the heads of the Council to provide Cordelia a renewed eyesight. Hank’s story line boils to a head as he shoots his way through Marie’s voodoo coven. Queenie uses her voodoo doll powers to blow a hole into Hank’s head. And Delphine who is literally just a head (!) is forced to face her bigotry and racism. An incredible episode.

  1. AHS Coven is absolutely my favorite show on TV right now. It can’t recall a better movie or television show that captured the energy of a “Witch Coven”. Outstanding! I’m on the edge of my seat every episode, as it should be.
