George A. Romero’s MARTIN Screening in Brooklyn, NY

2014_08_01 - MARTIN

George Romero is best known to horror film fans for his Living Dead films. My personal favorite, and what I consider to be his best film, is Martin (1976), a highly under-rated film shot just prior to what is perhaps his most beloved film, Dawn of the Dead (1978). The title character is portrayed with understated grace by actor John Amplas as a young man whose uncle is convinced that he … Continue reading

‘SHARKNADO 2′ Blows In Some Huge Numbers For SyFy Channel

lupjfkr2ntjd596hyzim

Last night was the night. The premiere of ‘Sharknado 2′ and what a splash it has made. The sequel generated an unbelievable 3.9 million viewers shattering all other SyFy premieres. You all remember what noise the original ‘Sharknado’ generated last year right? It only pulled in 1.4 million when it premiered. Yeah, ‘Sharknado 2′ kicked some pretty major ass.

Seems that the premise is just silly enough to keep the masses happy.

As has already … Continue reading

This Exclusive Clip From ‘Infliction’ Will Hit You Like A Brick

Infliction Poster No Credits

To call director Jack Thomas Smith’s latest effort, an assembled footage flick titled ‘Infliction’ disturbing would be like calling water wet. This is one crazy ass film and quite frankly, I don’t want to ruin the viewing for you by giving you the slightest clue of what you’re in for.

Jack was kind enough to send along an exclusive clip that give you just a little taste of what you can expect.

Groovy.
