THE WOMAN, SOMETHING LIKE MURDERÂ Â

EXCLUSIVE HORRORNEWS.NET INTERVIEW:Â NICHOLAS GRABOWSKY
BLACK BED SHEET BOOKS
I can’t tell you because it’s a secret. Actually, it’s just common sense. First, you have to write. Then, you have to learn to write great. When you got that pegged you’ll find you’ve been writing what’s in your soul all along, and if what’s in your soul happens to be horror, then you’re … Continue reading
I’ve been performing in some way my whole life. After graduating from college I packed up my car and drove from Indiana to LA. Later that year I got my first job on a then unknown show called Malcolm in the Middle. The rest is history. That, of course, is the very short version of a very long story! You’re welcome….
You play Bic in Straw … Continue reading
EXCLUSIVE HORRORNEWS.NET INTERVIEW : ROXSY TYLER
When I was a little girl I decided I wanted to be a writer when I grew up and that was originally what I always intended to do with my life. I wrote an anthology of short stories and poetry called “Big Boots and Black Hair Dye” and there was a three part … Continue reading
Exclusive Horrornews Interview: Maria Elena Laas
Tell us a little about your character Detective Rios in the movie “Unknowns”?
Detective Rios is a young, tough detective with a hidden agenda. She competes with her peers to nail the killer (or killers?) of the unknown actors. Although she is mysterious in this first installment her story will unfold in the sequel.
One winter in Ohio it was so cold for so long that me and a friend decided to use my Dad’s old 8mm – not even super 8 – camera to do a Star Trek parody stop motion animation film. Turned out the camera was half broken, but I guess the results weren’t so bad that it scared either of us away. My friend has been … Continue reading
Horrornews Exclusive Interview – Ashlynn Yennie ( The Human Centipede II )
Well, let me put it to you this way… Tom calls Part 1 “my little pony” when compared to Part 2. Fans and critics said Part 1 didn’t show enough, so Tom took that observation and created a film that I … Continue reading
The Black Saint knows that he doesn’t need to tell any of you who Tony Todd is. He has been a genre stalwart for years on both the big screen and on television. He also shows no signs of letting up anytime soon! His latest film “Final Destination 5″ is opening nationwide tomorrow and he was kind enough to speak with me for a bit about how he got into acting & … Continue reading
How did you come up with the concept for Grave Encounters?
Stuart: We had been searching for a low budget script idea and one day we were watching episodes of Ghost Adventures and Paranormal State on YouTube and we both just looked at each other and said “Why don’t we just do this?!”.
Colin: It just seemed like a no brainer. It … Continue reading
The Black Saint spends a fair amount of time trolling the web on a daily basis looking for something different, something that excites me. Every so often I find just such a tidbit. A month or so ago I lucked upon a trailer for a film called “Puppet Monster Massacre” & I knew I had to own it, quality be damned! But much to my surprise and delight, I purchased a really … Continue reading
How did you get involved in this movie, “Welcome to the Bates Motel”?
I was involved with ‘Welcome to the Bates Motel’ from its inception. Byron Turk, the director, and I first traveled to The Bates Motel and Haunted Hayride a few years ago. We fell in love with the place and immediately started devloping a script for the location with my long time friend and haunt employee … Continue reading
EXCLUSIVE HORRORNEWS INTERVIEW: GEORGE “THE ANIMAL” STEELE
PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER AND ACTOR (MOVIE: ED WOOD)
Tim was looking the right person to play the part of Tor and my name kept coming up.
You worked with a lot of talent in Tim Burton, Johnny Depp, Bill Murrey, and Martin Laundau. How was the experience of working on the film, Ed Wood?
approx. 60 minutes
Discussion about music, horror, drugs, and beyond. Â
This is honestly one of my best interviews.
1. I know personally for me, when I watch movies that deal with these types of teen topics, it brings back feelings of when I was a teen. Did you take any personal experiences from when you were a teen and incorporate it into the story?
I did. To an extent, except the end, everything in this movie actually happened. I over dramatized it because I only had an hour and a … Continue reading
When did your interest in the Men In Black start?
When I was a kid I got into reading the works of authors such as Brad Steiger, John Keel, and Gray Barker. These were three of the big names in UFO and paranormal research – and Brad still is to this day, I’m very pleased … Continue reading
What attracted me to TFS?? There were many things that made me want to be involved with The Frankenstein Syndrome. First it’s not often I get to play characters with brains let alone playing a doctor of sorts. Also I thought Sean Tretta had something special with this script, it was so different I just knew I had to be a part of it.
For years film studios have occasionally released films to a small number of theaters for a week or two in preparation for their DTV release. There are many reasons why this (still) occurs, the studio doesn’t have any faith in the film & wants to make a quick buck & possibly even get a good review or two for the DVD cover. Or the studio realizes it has a total bomb on … Continue reading
I’ve always loved horror/thriller movies, and this one had a smart, interesting story. I loved how the writer (and director, Patrick Johnson) took a different approach – the audience sees the story unfold largely
from Tara’s perspective.
So, as an actor, this was very attractive… It was fun to give the psycho chick some backstory and vulnerability – even in the … Continue reading
This is part of the interview conversation that I had with Austin Idol this past Saturday, June 4, 2011. WARNING: The topic was the real life 1975 plane crash that ended in the death of professional wrestler Bobby Shane. Austin Idol, Buddy Colt, and Gary Hart were also on that plane. This interview gets very heated.
It really plays heavily on your mind. It’s like a never ending … Continue reading
With technology and film distribution being the way that it is in this day and age, we, as horror fans, have more choices than ever as to what we watch as far as horror films are concerned. We are living in a time where independent horror filmmaking is at its best… and its worst at the same time. I mean The level of ease of putting together an independent low/micro budgeted film is at an … Continue reading
