Trent Reznor Not Involved With ALVH

Doom Reboot?

Red Riding Hood Novel Troubles

In preparation for the release of the movie Red Riding Hood fans have been scooping up the novelization by Sarah Blakley-Cartwright.  In doing so though they have learned that the book is missing it’s ending.  That’s right, fans who have bought the book that the movie is being based on will not know the ending until the movie is released!

Total Recall Remake Green Lighted

A date has been set for the release of the Total Recall remake.  Come August 3rd, 2012 we will see how Colin Farrell stacks up against Arnold in the iconic role of Denis Quaid. 

This is a movie that still holds well today and was a breakthrough part for Arnold Schwarzenegger made over twenty years ago.  This is a tough sell to people but Sony is moving forward anyways.

MGM Revival

MGM had filed for bankruptcy a while back and it seemed like they would be out of the movie making business for quite some time.  It was a shame really because they were working on some really great projects and held the rights to the James Bond franchise.  They received a $500 million cash infusion however and are getting some projects back on track.

Pet Semetary Remake Still a Possibility

There is some renewed interest in a Pet Semetary remake.  I personally loved the original and still cringe when I watch it.  That scene where Gage stabs the old man in the ankle and cuts it out is still difficult to watch.  It’s so well done and realistic that you feel pain in just watching it happen.

Scream 4 back in Detroit

Buzz has been circling around the fact that Scream 4 cast was returning to Detroit, Michigan for some reshoots.  Wes Craven has set it straight though that these are not in fact reshoots but opportunities to make some scenes stronger and better.
