French Zombie Film ‘The Horde’ Gets Xmas Release Date

Actually the release date is a couple days prior to Christmas, but I got your attention didn’t I? Ok, maybe not. Anyway, IFC has announced that The Horde will be released to DVD in the U.S. on December 21, 2010. The DVD will feature: a making-of featurette, an alternate opening, deleted scenes, drawing studies, posters, trailers, storyboards and the short film Revoallan.

EW gives us an inside look into the Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight Saga production designer) thriller, Red Riding Hood that stars Amanda Seyfried, Gary Oldman, Virginia Madsen, and Luke Haas. The story is set in a medieval village that is haunted by a werewolf, where a young girl falls for an orphaned woodcutter, much to her family’s displeasure. Yea, so it’s kinda like the fairy tale, but darker and with a twist haha.
