Enjoy A Clip From The Convention Documentary FANTASM

Making its debut this coming weekend at the Rock and Shock show in Worcester MA is the convention documentary FANTASM. The film takes an in depth and behind the scenes look at conventions and the people and celebrities that attend them. As any of us who attend conventions with any regularity can attest, there is nothing quite like the vibe of hanging out with a bunch of like minded horror geeks for an entire weekend … Continue reading

The Vicious Brothers Are Ready To Bring Us THE VISITORS

I don’t know about you but I dug GRAVE ENCOUNTERS. The Vicious Brothers put a nice spin on the found footage/ghost hunters sub genre and their next project they are going to take on aliens, or so it would appear. The project is titled THE VISITORS and the sales art teases”They don’t come in peace!” So it sounds like were dealing with some pissed off aliens at that. Lets take a look at the artwork, … Continue reading

Here’s A Side Of CARRIE’s Mom We Didn’t See In The Original

The week has finally arrived where the CARRIE remake will finally make its debut and today a new very short, very vague new clip showed up. What we do see is a side of Margret White that wasn’t shown in the original, at least not that I remember. Piper Laurie portrayed her as an over the top religious zealot but not really “crazy” as in “mentally ill” crazy but it looks like the new take … Continue reading

Some Sales Art Shows Up For Stephen King’s CELL

As happens with so many films, the road to the big screen has been an odd one for Stephen King’s CELL. Originally slated to be an Eli Roth flick it is now in the hands of Paranormal Activity 2’s director Tod Williams with John Cusack still cast in the lead. Last news we got was that the film was to start lensing a month or so back but there has been no other news since … Continue reading

Cast And Crew Discuss NBC’s DRACULA

The networks take on DRACULA creeps into town on Oct. 25th but NBC is amping up their PR and as such have released a DVD style featurette taking us behind the scenes and into the world of their version of the legendary bloodsucker. We Get Our First Look At BITTEN

This all seems a little TWILIGHT-Y to me. I’ll let you decide if that’s a good thing or bad. All I can say is if one werewolf sparkles, I’m out! No sparkling in the teaser clip though just some made for TV werewolf action. I’m talking about BITTEN a new series coming at us from SYFY Channel. We talked about it briefly a while back and it would appear they have moved forward fairly quickly … Continue reading

Is this really the first horror flick shot on an iPhone? Well, that’s what the press release says so I’m going to roll with it. I guess it really was just a matter of time till it happened, a full length flick shot on on iPhone just seems like the natural progression of things and that brings us to HOOKED UP. My first question is, how many charged iPhones did they have on set as … Continue reading
