Daniel Stamm Signs On for MARTYRS Remake

The LA Times is reporting that the producers of MARTYRS have nabbed director Daniel Stamm (THE LAST EXORCISM) to rework the popular French torture film for an American audience. Martyrs tells the story of two abused orphan girls, Lucie and Anna, who meet and become friends. Fifteen years after she was kidnapped and subjected to prolonged torture, a mentally unstable Lucie seeks revenge on tormentors and pulls Anna along with her into a world of delusions, abuse and madness.
