started filming the action movie, ‘Blue Line‘ this past Sunday, January 25th in Connecticut!  ‘Blue Line’ is about a master thief pulling off the heist of a lifetime with a jaded police detective hot on her trail. The movie stars Tom Sizemore (Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, Heat) Jordan Ladd (Never Been Kissed, Cabin Fever, Death Proof) WWE/WCW Professional Wrestling Legend Kevin Nash (The Punisher, The Longest Yard, Magic Mike).

Hollywood Producer Richard Switzer packaged the film with LA based Executive Producer and actor Thymes Lewis and Producer Tyler Konney, the film’s sales agent who will rep the project via Taylor & Dodge. They have partnered with Connecticut native and resident, movie Producer and actor David Gere (Army of The Damned, A Bet’s A Bet, Sensory Perception). ‘Blue Line’ will be directed by Greenwich, CT resident Jacob Cooney.

Thyme Lewis, well known for his portrayal of Jonah Carver on the hit soap, ‘Days of our Lives’, but most recently hits like ‘American Horror Story’ and ‘Sons of Anarchy’, will also co-star opposite Sizemore. They will be joined by Nikki Moore (Kiss The Abyss) Tom DeNucci (Self Storage, Bleed For This) and Lindsay Lamb (Natural Born Filmmakers).

David Gere connected the dots between Hollywood and his hometown of Cromwell to bring filmmaking to the area. Cromwell’s mayor and David Gere’s former Cromwell High School classmate, Enzo Faienza states, “I’m so proud of Dave and his desire to go to Hollywood and make his dream come true to bring movie making to our town. It’s a testament to our youth that if you work hard and strive for your goals anything is possible. These are exciting times for Cromwell as Dave is including so many members of our community in process of making this film. It has been a collaborative effort, and a pleasure working with Dave, Thyme, Richard and Jacob. They are true professionals who care about the integrity of the town and making the film work here. I can’t wait to see the final product when it is completed.”

Richard Switzer, a former resident of Connecticut was profiled on Entertainment Tonight for being the youngest movie producer in history.

The film includes professional stunts and car chase scenes which will be filmed near Golf Club Road in Cromwell. “It’s exciting to have Hollywood level car chase scenes and fight choreography performed by legends Gary Hymes, Tom McComas and directed by Eric Norris (son of Chuck Norris) who recently finished the final scenes of the Sons of Anarchy series, in a local town setting”, says Thyme Lewis.

‘Blue Line’ was co-written and will be directed by Jacob Cooney, a Greenwich, CT resident who recently left Hollywood to bring his writing and directing talents to Connecticut.
