All Female ‘Ghostbusters 3’ Confirmed!

This morning brought confirmation to what I reported to you about a month ago.  ‘Ghostbusters 3’ is a go and it will feature an all female slate of Ghostbusters.  No casting news as of you yet but everyone is just kind of assuming that since Director Paul Feig is on board that Melissa McCarthy will be involved.  We’ll have to wait and see if that pans out.

Original Ghostbuster Bill Murray had a few suggestions for Mr. Feig that included Ms. McCarthy as well as Kristen Wiig, Linda Cardellini, and Emma Stone all of whom sound like excellent choices.

So now that we have confirmation they can get down to the business of making this thing happen.  No official time frame on when things might gear up but I suspect that Sony will want to get the ball rolling sooner than later so keep it here and updates will available as needed.
