Paul Hyett Jumps Into THE POOL

One of the most talked about films last year in the horror circle was THE SEASONING HOUSE directed by one Paul Hyett. Mr. Hyett is known mainly for his FX work on films like THE DESCENT and THE WOMAN IN BLACK but THE SEASONING HOUSE certainly put him on the fast track directorial wise and today comes news of his next effort behind the camera.

Titled THE POOL it is reported to be a rabid dog tale about a group of folks attending a pool party who find themselves trapped in their luxury cliff top home when a rapid dog plays party crasher.

The production companies website pimps the project as follows:

“hyett draws on classic horrors like jaws and paranormal activity, saying “what elevates a horror into a classic is making the audience terrified of the everyday”. using proprietary, never before seen fx, the pool will be out-and-out action coupled with edge of your seat tension.”

Filming is said to start later this year. Certainly one to keep an eye on.
