Stevie Nicks Joining The Cast Of AMERICAN HORROR STORY: COVEN

Yeah, go ahead and smile at that headline.

If you’ve been watching AHS: COVEN this year then you are well aware of the Stevie Nicks / Fleetwood Mac tie in. If you haven’t been watching it’s still to late to catch up and get with the program. In the show Misty, the witch played wonderfully by the amazing Lily Rabe in totally infatuated with Nicks dressing like her and playing her and Fleetwood Mac’s music constantly.

It’s been such a hit with fans of the show that of course the powers that be have found a way to work Nicks into the show. Show co-creator Ryan Murphey talked to EW and spilled the beans that Nicks will be appearing in Episode 10 which won’t air till after the mid season break. He also said:

“She appears as herself. It’s part of Fiona’s ruse in that Fiona is trying to get the true Supreme to reveal herself because she needs to stay alive. So she tells Misty Day that the Supreme gets so many great things in life, like tickets to the Oscars and Met Ball tickets. So she brings Stevie Nicks in as a gift to Misty to prove to her that if she exhibits more power she’ll get that and more. Then the other girls come home and see Stevie and Misty singing and it starts them trying to move much quicker to prove that they are the Supreme.”

So it sounds like a one shot gig for Nicks but who cares. It’s gonna be awesome!!
