Rare Screening of 1983’s CURTAINS in New York City

2013_10_31 - CURTAINS screeningDirector Richard Ciupka’s Curtains, the 1983 Canadian thriller about six actresses vying for the part of “Audra” at the home of film director Jonathan Stryker, will screen on 35mm (courtesy of yours truly) on Friday, November 1st, 2013 at the Francesca Beale Theater near Lincoln Center at 7:00 pm.  Actress Lesleh Donaldson, who plays ice skater Christie Burns in the film, is scheduled to appear at the screening.  The film is part of the Film Society’s Scary Movies 7, which is currently underway and concludes on Saturday, November 2nd with a rare 35mm screening of Rituals and a 16mm screening of Let’s Scare Jessica to Death.
