Kevin O’Neill to helm Pulser Productions’ DRACANO

Kevin O’Neill will direct the upcoming film DRACANO for Pulser Productions and Odyssey Media, Inc. as part of their multi-picture deal. Script is by Sci-Fi and Horror vet Lindsay James (Malibu Shark Attack, Ice Road Terror, Phantom Racer) and is being produced by Pulser Productions’ Stan Spry and Eric Woods and Odyssey Media Inc.’s Kirk Shaw and Devi Singh.

DRACANO is the story of a catastrophic volcanic eruption that releases ancient dragon-like creatures on the surrounding areas. Scientists believe that this could start a chain reaction of volcanic eruptions giving way to a global Dragon Apocalypse.

O’Neill is best known for his long and prestigious Visual Effects career on such films and TV series as BLADE, PULSE, SKY CAPTAIN and the WORLD OF TOMORROW, DUNGEOUS & DRAGONS, HERCULES: THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS and XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS but is also an established director. O’Neill directed the cult classic films DINOCROC, DINOSHARK and ATTACK of the 50 FOOT CHEERLEADER.

The team at Pulser Films have been involved in such films as SAND SHARKS, A LOVE/LIKE OURS, DRAGON WASPS, GUNS, GIRLS, & GAMBLING, and THE NEXT RACE. Odyssey Media Inc., with offices in Vancouver B.C. and Brisbane Australia, opened its doors in 2010 as a leading entertainment company specializing in film and television production financing and packaging. The company’s recent production resume includes the Australian shot feature films, “Bad Karma” starring Ray Liotta and “Deception” starring Cuba Gooding Jr.
