“Midnight Hour” sets off its own fireworks in July

Thriller-genre television shows may be on hiatus for the summer with one exception as July ushers in the latest entry of the cult TV series, “Lee Martin’s The Midnight Hour.”

“Bad Boys Go to Hell” tells the offbeat story of young Tracey (Amerie Novosad), a high school misfit who is bullied by day and ostracized by her own family at night (with one unfortunate exception). Little do her hateful classmates suspect that Tracey is in fact “The Oakdale Killer,” a serial murderer who has been off-ing students at her school and thus alleviating some of her own angst. Tracey’s problems are far from over though, as she learns her terminally ill mother (Sharla Fasko) is planning to leave the family business to creepy new husband Mike (Rocco Guirlanda), effectively cutting Tracey off. Soon however, it is Tracey who is cutting things off (and putting them in some surprising places), as the story builds to an ironic climax.

Watch for outstanding performances from Novosad and Guirlanda, plus some ghastly special effects work from series co-producer and film editor Brian Schoof.

“Bad Boys Go to Hell” airs every Thursday and Saturday throughout July, 2012. Visit http://www.leemartinsthemidnighthour.com for channels, times and a live streaming video simulcast link accessible world-wide.
